We are thrilled to invite you to the 2025 International Gold Event (IGE) and Forum in Lagos, Nigeria, hosted by the International Award for Young People Nigeria.
Held once every three years, these events are a pivotal gathering of global changemakers, uniting us to drive forward in our shared vision. For the first time ever, IGE will lead directly into Forum, bringing together youth voices with leaders from all our global partners to exchange knowledge, share experiences, and collaborate on shaping the future of the Award. This will be a vital moment to reflect, innovate, and strengthen our collective impact, ensuring more young people than ever can benefit from the Award.

The International Gold Event (IGE) is a unique opportunity for young leaders to develop the skills, knowledge, and confidence to become ambassadors of the Award, lead impactful projects, and collaborate on solutions to the challenges facing their generation. Through training, hands-on workshops, and global networking, IGE empowers participants to drive change in their communities and beyond.
19 - 23 November
Forum is a defining gathering of leaders from across the global Award network, where through interactive discussions, strategic planning, and cross-cultural collaboration, participants work together to set the ambitions and goals of the Award for the years ahead. With the inclusion of IGE participants, Forum will also ensure the voices of young leaders play an active role in driving the Award’s future direction.
